My passion lies in crafting stunning Eco printed fabrics and papers harnessing the natural beauty of the environment around me. My artistic journey revolves around using natural materials found in nature to create beautiful nature mandalas, paper designs, fabrics and wearable art.
Eco Printing
Eco Printing is a creative and sustainable way of dying fabrics and paper, using variety of foliage to achieve unique designs and one of a kind pieces of wearable art. It’s a beautiful way of capturing the essence of Australia’s flora. For me it’s also a way of practicing mindfulness and connecting with nature. A way to honour the beauty that surrounds me and cherish the wonders of mother earth.
Nature Mandalas
Drawing inspiration from sacred geometry and the many hidden jewels found in nature, I love to intricately arrange petals, leaves, and other natural elements into harmonious compositions. Each nature mandala becomes a meditative journey, blending colours and forms to create captivating, symmetrical and impermanent works of art.
Tea Bag Art
Tea bag art is a unique form of visual art that involves creating designs on used tea bags. For me this idea started as a challenge to re-purpose everyday, common household materials for my creative projects. Working with a unique and unconventional canvas like a tea bag adds an element of surprise and fun to the artistic process.
